Oh great.
That's
just what I want to eat.
Pharmaceutical drugs are one thing on their own, but I wasn't really planning on consuming much in the way of antibiotics (raw garlic aside) on my dinner plate. Or extra detergents or plastic. Choosing drugs, is a little different than hoping to choose a watermelon which happens to be dressed in disguise.
But it's coming!
Check this out.
Hungry yet?
This article is really alarming Gail.
ReplyDeleteWOW - crazy stuff Gail... nice post!

Wow...so for those stubborn diabetics or whatever who refuse to take their medicine, it will now be available in food? Scary.
ReplyDeleteheh... yea...
ReplyDeleteThis is very scary!
ReplyDeleteI have an issue with joie de vivre's comment. She seems to think that if a person has diabetes, it's their fault that the government is growing drugs for them and harming everyone else's food supply. People with diabetes take their medicine faithfully -- their life depends on it.
anonymous - I could be wrong, but I don't think joie de vivre meant it as an attack on diabetics; just that there could be potentially harmful substances in our food.
ReplyDeleteI think joie de vivre meant that we could all potentially be consuming pharmaceutical drugs, whether we know it or not.
Just my interpretation of it.
wow, pretty eye-opening stuff. Thanks for the link.
